Do you have family overseas that dream to live in Australia?
Australian residents, Australian permanent residents and NZ residents can sponsor close family members for permanent residence to Australia.
Australian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor partners for migration to Australia. To sponsor a partner, you must be married, engaged or in a de facto relationship (common law) relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen. You will need to show that you and your partner have a commitment to a shared life together, to the exclusion of others.
Australian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor their parents to migrate to Australia. You must be sponsored by one of your children who must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident who is settled in Australia. You must also pass the “balance of family” test, which specifies that at least half of your children must live permanently in Australia or you must have more children living permanently in Australia than in other single country. An assurance of support must also be provided during the first two years in Australia.
A Child visa lets a parent who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen sponsor their child to live in Australia indefinitely. The child must be single and younger than 18, unless he/she is a full-time student and between 18 and 25 years of age or 18 or older and unable to work due to a disability and is dependent on the sponsoring parent.
