The Department of Home Affairs has confirmed the changes to English language requirements for Student and Temporary Graduate visas are to start on March 23, 2024.
📝 Here are the important updates:
– Minimum test score for Student visa English proficiency increases to IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent).
– Minimum score for ELICOS course rises to IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent).
– Temporary Graduate visa English requirement now at IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent).
These changes will impact all future students and recent graduates planning to study or work in Australia!
